4 | pieces | Eggplant |
2 | cloves | garlic, minced |
2 | teaspoons | Ground Cumin |
1 | teaspoon | Cayenne pepper |
2 | teaspoons | Sesame Oil |
1/2 | packet | NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream |
1 | piece | Lemon |
3 | tablespoons | Olive Oil |
1 | teaspoon | Paprika |
4 | pieces | pita bread, warmed |
1 | To Taste | Salt |
1 | To Taste | Pepper |
Step 1 | Roast the eggplants in a 200 degree C oven until tender, about 30 minutes. Let cool. |
Step 2 | Once cool, peel the eggplant and remove the seeds. |
Step 3 | In a food processor, combine eggplant meat with the next 6 ingredients. Blend. Season with lemon juice, salt and pepper. |
Step 4 | Chill the mixture. |
Step 5 | To serve place in a bowl, garnish with olive oil and paprika on top and pita bread on the side. |
