500 | grams | cassava, peeled and cut into pieces |
1 | packet | NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream |
1/4 | cup | Butter |
1/4 | cup | Sugar |
1/4 | cup | NESTLÉ® Carnation® Condensada |
1/4 | bar | grated cheese |
Step 1 | Place cassava in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer 30 – 40 minutes or until very tender. (45mins) |
Step 2 | Drain well and place cassava back in the same pot. Mash the cassava according to preferred texture using a whisk. Add in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, butter, sugar and NESTLÉ® Carnation® Condensada. Mix well and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. (10mins) |
Step 3 | Line a serving container with banana leaf. Pour cassava mixture and set aside for 10 minutes to set. |
Step 4 | Grate cheese on top and serve warm. (2mins) |
