Step 1 | Preheat oven at 350ᴼF (30 mins) |
Step 2 | Mix the coffee with hot water. Add raisins to coffee mixture and set aside. (5 mins) |
Step 3 | In a separate bowl sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. (5 mins) |
Step 4 | Whisk butter and 1/3 cup brown sugar in a bowl until light. Mix in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, eggs and vanilla. Pour into the dry ingredients mix until just combined. (10 mins) |
Step 5 | Add raisin and coffee mixture to the batter and mix until smooth. Pour into a baking pan and bake for 30 – 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center of the pudding. (45 mins) |
Step 6 | For the sauce, mix 1 cup brown sugar, ½ cup NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, 1 stick of butter and salt in a sauce pan and cook over low heat stir until thick. Serve sauce on the side with the Toffee Pudding. (15 mins) |
