4 | cups | Water |
2 | tablespoons | Vegetable Oil |
4 | cloves | Garlic |
1 | piece | 1 thumb-size ginger, minced |
1 | piece | onion, chopped |
1 1/2 | cups | 1 1/2 cup frozen green peas |
1/4 | cup | All Purpose Flour |
1/2 | cup | picked malunggay leaves |
2 | sachets | MAGGI® Magic Sarap® 8g |
1 | packet | NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream |
Step 1 | Simmer chicken in water for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside. Shred chicken once cooled. (15mins) |
Step 2 | Sauté garlic, ginger, onion and green peas in oil. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes. Slowly stir in reserved chicken broth. Bring to simmer. (10mins) |
Step 3 | Stir in malunggay leaves and season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Transfer into a blender and carefully purée into a thick soup. (10mins) |
Step 4 | Pour back in the same pan and mix in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Bring to a gentle simmer. (5mins) |
Step 5 | Transfer into serving bowls. Top with chicken and tomato. Serve immediately. (5mins) |
