6 | cups | Water |
1/4 | cup | Vegetable Oil |
8 | cloves | garlic, minced |
1 | piece | large onion, chopped |
3 | pieces | tomato, chopped |
250 | grams | sliced pork belly |
2 | sachets | MAGGI® Magic Sarap® |
1 | packet | NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream |
1 | bunch | chili tops, picked |
Step 1 | Simmer munggo in water for 30 minutes. (35mins) |
Step 2 | Sauté garlic, onion, tomato and pork in oil for 10 minutes. Add to simmering munggo. Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes. (15mins) |
Step 3 | Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream and chili tops. (5mins) Note: Other ingredients like hibe (dried shrimps), tinapa flakes or crushed chicharon may be added to Ginisang Munggo for more flavor. Add malunggay leaves to make the dish healthier. |
