Step 1 | Pre-heat oven to 300ᴼF. (20 mins) |
Step 2 | Sift sugar, all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. (2 mins) |
Step 3 | Mix egg, ½ pack NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, vegetable oil and vanilla extract together in a separate bowl. (3 mins) |
Step 4 | Whisk in liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients. Gradually whisk in hot water. Mix until well combined (5 mins) |
Step 5 | Grease aluminum pan, pour cake mixture and bake for 30mins or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle of the cake. (30 mins) |
Step 6 | For the chocolate frosting, mix ½ pack NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, chocolate chips, and NESTLÉ® Carnation® Condensada in a bowl with gently simmering water underneath. Mix until smooth. Set aside to cool. (10 mins) |
Step 7 | Pour chocolate frosting on the top of the cake and chill overnight. (2 mins) |
