500 | grams | pork intestine, rinsed well |
2 | tablespoons | Vegetable Oil |
4 | cloves | garlic, minced |
1 | piece | thumb-sized ginger, cut into strips |
1 | piece | onion, chopped |
1 | piece | Finger Chili |
1 | piece | Bay Leaf |
1/4 | cup | Vinegar |
2 | cups | Water |
1 | cup | fresh pork blood |
2 | sachets | MAGGI® Magic Sarap® |
1/8 | teaspoon | freshly ground pepper |
1 | teaspoon | Brown Sugar |
1 | packet | NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream |
Step 1 | Simmer pork and intestine in water for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse well. Cut into serving pieces. (10mins) |
Step 2 | Sauté garlic, ginger, onion and chili in oil. Add bay leaf, vinegar, pork cheeks and intestines. Pour water to barely cover the pork. Cover and simmer until tender. (1hour) |
Step 3 | Stir in pork blood and cook until slightly thick. Simmer for 5 minutes. (5mins) |
Step 4 | Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap®, pepper and sugar. Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Transfer into a serving plate. (5mins) |
