Step 1 | Combine butter, apple, cinnamon, and sugar in a pan. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool. |
Step 2 | Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda into a large mixing bowl. Cut in butter in the mixture until wet sand texture is achieved. |
Step 3 | Pour NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream and cooked apple mixture. Mix until just combined. |
Step 4 | Flatten on a board until 1-inch thick and cut into desired shapes. Place cookies on a sheet tray and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the cookie. Set aside to cool completely. |
Step 5 | For the Caramel Sauce, mix butter, brown sugar, NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, and water in a pan. Cook over low heat until smooth. Set aside to cool. Serve with Scones. |
