2 tablespoons Butter
1 piece large white onion, minced
2 pieces large egg yolks
2 1/2 packets NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
4 teaspoons lemon zest, finely grated
1 tablespoon to 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 sachet MAGGI® Magic Sarap®
2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
450 grams fettuccine, cooked al dente

STEPS

Step 1 Melt butter in a sauté pan. Add onions and cook for about 3 minutes.
Step 2 In a bowl, combine NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream, egg yolks, lemon zest, and fresh lemon juice. Lower heat and add cream mixture and Parmesan cheese to the pan. Cook, whisking until slightly thickened. Season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap® and freshly ground pepper.
Step 3 Add cooked pasta and toss well. Pour some of the pasta liquid to loosen the sauce.
