500 | grams | pork belly, cut into pieces |
1/4 | cup | Soy Sauce |
6 | tablespoons | Vinegar |
6 | cloves | garlic, crushed |
1 | piece | Bay Leaf |
1 | teaspoon | Black Peppercorn |
2 | tablespoons | Brown Sugar |
1 1/2 | cups | 1 1/2 cup Water |
1 | tablespoon | tausi (fermented salted black beans), rinsed |
1 | tablespoon | Vegetable Oil |
1 | sachet | MAGGI® Magic Sarap® |
1 | packet | NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream |
Step 1 | Combine pork belly, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaf, peppercorn, sugar, water and tausi in a pot. Simmer while covered for 45 minutes. (50 mins) |
Step 2 | Strain pork and sauté in oil until golden brown. Pour cooking liquid and add MAGGI® Magic Sarap®. Simmer for 5 minutes. (10 mins) |
Step 3 | Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. Gently simmer for another 2 minutes. Transfer on a serving plate and serve. (3mins) |
