1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon fine salt
3/4 cup Cocoa Powder
3/4 teaspoon NESCAFÉ Classic
1 cup hot water
1 packet NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream
3/4 cup Butter, softened
1 3/4 cups 1 3/4 cup Sugar
2 pieces Egg
1 teaspoon Butter, for greasing
4 pieces egg whites, room temperature
1 cup Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Salt
4 pieces egg whites, room temperature
1 cup Sugar
1/8 teaspoon Salt

STEPS

Step 1 Pre-heat oven to 350ᴼF. (1 min)
Step 2 Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together in a bowl. (5 mins)
Step 3 In another bowl, mix cocoa powder, NESCAFÉ Classic and hot water. Stir in NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream. (5 mins)
Step 4 Whisk butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add in eggs one at a time. Mix until smooth. (5 mins)
Step 5 In a low speed, add in dry ingredients alternately with the cream mixture. Mix until smooth. (5 mins)
Step 6 Grease a 9-inch cake pan with butter and line with parchment paper. Pour cake batter on the pan and bake for 45 minutes. Or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove and set a side to cool. (1 hr)
Step 7 For the frosting, mix egg whites, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl. Place on a pot with simmering water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Whip egg whites until stiff peaks. (15 mins)
Step 8 Spread frosting around the cake and make peaks to decorate. (10 mins)
