Apple and Broas Layers of Delight: | |

Step 1 | In a bowl, combine apple sauce, condensed milk and lemon juice. Set aside. |
Step 2 | Assemble in a medium-sized glass by putting 3 tbsp of apple sauce – condensed milk mixture at the bottom of the glass. |
Step 3 | Arrange 1st layer of broas. Top with NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream then apple slices. Sprinkle with nuts and cover with apple sauce again. Repeat layering until all ingredients have been used. |
Step 4 | Keep in refrigerator for 2 hours to chill. Serve with a dollop of cream on top. *Apple sauce can be bought in stores or can be prepared with the recipe below |
DIY Apple Sauce: | |

Step 5 | Cook apples with sugar and water over low heat for about 30-45 minutes or until apples are soft and tender. |
Step 6 | Cool mixture and transfer on a blender to process or to a sieve to mash the apple well. Combine with the syrup or the sauce to come up with 1/2 cup. |
